Marilyn joined Lyons Companies in March of 2005 as director of human
resources and became director of Lyons Benefits Consulting in 2009. Prior to joining Lyons Companies, Marilyn worked for an insurance
brokerage firm based in western Pennsylvania. There she held the positions of human resources manager and branch manager of the Philadelphia
office supporting sales and service in Property & Casualty and Employee Benefits departments.
Marilyn is licensed in Property & Casualty insurance and Accident, Life & Health.
Marilyn earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology at Rowan University. She has a Masters of Business Administration, with a Human
Resources concentration from Upper Iowa University. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and holds the Senior
Professional in Human Resources designation through this organization. Her volunteer activities have included the Junior League, American
Association of University Women, and her local church. She also is adjunct faculty for the Division of Extended Learning at Holy Family
University in Philadelphia, PA. Marilyn has taught undergraduate and graduate classes in business and human resources.
